Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Prosper Vision Pty Ltd (ABN 34 662 345 477) does with the information you give us through this website. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you complete the form on this site, we collect:

• Your first name, email address and WhatsApp number.
• Your answers to the qualifying questions: when you are leaving or left Australia, your visa situation, an approximate super balance range, which fund holds it, whether you still have access to the account, and whether the name on your super matches your passport.
• Technical information from your visit: advertising click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid), stored in your browser for up to 90 days so we can tell which ad brought you here.

What we deliberately do not collect here

This form never asks for your Tax File Number or your passport number, and you should never send them to us through it. A Tax File Number is protected information under the Privacy (Tax File Number) Rule 2015. When your claim reaches the stage where those details are genuinely required, we ask for them separately, through a secure channel, and only then.

Why we collect it

• To answer you and quote your case accurately.
• To prepare and lodge a Departing Australia Superannuation Payment claim, which is carried out through a registered tax agent.
• To measure which advertising is worth continuing, using the click identifiers above.

Who else sees it

• The registered tax agent who lodges claims, where lodging your claim requires it.
• Your super fund and the Australian Taxation Office, as part of making the claim itself.
• Service providers that run this site and its form (form delivery, email, hosting and analytics), who may process data outside Australia.

We do not sell your information, and we do not trade it.

Cookies and measurement

This site stores advertising click identifiers in your browser for up to 90 days. We may also use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to understand how the page performs and to show follow-up ads to people who visited it. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings, and blocking them does not stop you using the form.

When you send the form, your email address and phone number may also be passed to Google and Meta in scrambled form, so that they can tell us which ad brought you here. The scrambling happens inside your own browser and cannot be reversed: neither company receives your details in readable form, and neither is permitted to use them to contact you.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become clients are kept while they are still useful to answer you, and deleted after that. For clients, records are kept for as long as Australian tax and record-keeping obligations require. Documents that were provided but never needed are securely disposed of once the claim is finalised.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing contact@prospervision.com.au. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
